Our History

Founded by Abe Wellington in 1998, Opal Group started in a small humble office in Mount Kisco, NY. The first few conferences the company produced were a monumental success and quickly propelled Opal Group as a key player in the industry. It wasn't too long before the company outgrew the small office and moved to New York City.

As the company grew, Opal Group added more conferences in the finance industry to its repertoire. Shortly after that growth helped thrust the company to the next level, Opal Group decided to pursue other industries.

Now, Opal Group organizes conferences in various industries including, Finance, Life Sciences, Medicare, Facilities Management, and Athletics.
