Virtual
November 10, 2020
With the changing landscape among numerous industries due to COVID-19, the need to meet is more relevant than ever. Each Opal agenda contains a comprehensive list of seasoned speakers and leaders who are closely watching the impact of COVID-19 and its relation to industry trends. Opal is eager to keep education and networking a priority amongst this community.
At Opal, we understand that the current environment makes the prospect of travel complex. However, the desire to meet and engage with your industry peers hasn't diminished.
We are hoping to make your decision to attend the upcoming event an effortless one. We are proud to announce that the upcoming event will be a “virtual” presentation and will check all the boxes and emulate a "live" in-person event. Over the next few months, we will all undoubtedly learn more about the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, and Opal Group will be monitoring states rules, regulations, and safety procedures so we can work towards a safe return to “live” in-person events.

Opal Group is happy to announce its 5th annual Impact Investing Forum. Impact investing is an approach that seeks to create positive social and environmental impact alongside a financial return. Today, we see an increase in companies proving that mission-driven and communication based strategy, can attract value based workforce, investor base, and like-minded consumer. Impact investing strategies are also proving to be able to generate returns in line to their traditional counterparts. Over the next four decades, it is estimated that over $41+ trillion will transfer from baby boomers to Millennials. As we move to the next generation of investors, we are going to find companies aligning their beliefs, operation, and communication strategies with that of the Millennials. The Impact Investing Forum will look at many of the asset classes that encompass this space. We invite you to join us and meet top influencers, experienced investors, money managers, and service providers that are leading the charge in this ever growing space. Themes of defining impact investing, portfolio construction, asset class opportunities, and the role of the investor are just a few of the stimulating topics to be covered at this event.
